Today would have been the 73rd birthday of one of the most influential and legendary soul singers of all time, Otis Redding. Greensboro’s own Roy Roberts and Curt Moore penned this tribute after Otis’ untimely passing in 1967.
With all due respect to the Godfather of Soul, now that Sam and Otis are gone, Mr Roberts is Number One!
